How many people join a Room?
It depends on the activity and Room format. Most Rooms are designed to feel small, comfortable and easy to join, with the group size shown clearly before you sign up.
Can I join if I do not know anyone?
Yes. Most people join on their own. Every Room is designed around a shared activity, so everyone starts on equal footing.
Can I come alone?
Yes. You can join on your own. Each Room is built around a shared activity, so you do not need to already know someone before attending.
What if I'm shy or introverted?
Circles are designed for exactly this. The shared activity gives everyone a natural starting point — you don't need to think of things to say.
Do I have to talk?
Not at all. Show up, do the activity, and let conversation happen at your own pace. There's no pressure to perform.
Can I host my own Room?
Not at the moment. We're launching with carefully curated Rooms organised by the Rivet Circles team to provide a comfortable and consistent experience. As the community grows, we hope to introduce member-hosted Rooms in the future.
